Endless Runway

Pre-loved Fashion Week

eBay’s Endless Runway fashion show was a groundbreaking event that spotlighted sustainable, pre-loved fashion at both New York and London Fashion Week ‘24. In collaboration with the CFDA, the British Fashion Council, and style icon Wisdom Kaye, the show featured pre-loved and archival pieces from the same designer brands presenting throughout both Fashion Weeks, allowing viewers to shop these high-end, one-of-a-kind looks in real time. This campaign resonated globally, generating 2.2 billion earned media impressions across over 22 outlets, including Vogue and BBC, reinforcing eBay’s role in shaping the future of pre-loved, sustainable fashion.

Fashion Week Daily Drops

Each day of Fashion Week, we dropped a curated collection of pre-loved designer pieces representative of designer brands showing that day.

Street Style Looks

To extend the endless motif on social, we sent a street photographer out during NYFW to capture looks of attendees and onlookers. We shared these looks and linked out to queries on eBay so followers could recreate the looks themselves.

Willy Chavarria

eBay

For Paris Fashion Week, eBay teamed up with CFDA American Menswear Designer of the Year, Willy Chavarria, to bring pre-loved fashion to the runway. Chavarria, who has long drawn inspiration from vintage pieces, worked with eBay to source archival items from his own collections, seamlessly integrating them into his AW25 Paris debut show. His latest collection, Tarantula, featured these pre-loved finds alongside new designs, reinforcing eBay’s role as the ultimate destination for discovering top-tier vintage and designer fashion—all while championing the circular economy.

Supporting LA Wildfire Relief

In a tribute to his California roots and to aid wildfire recovery efforts in Los Angeles, Chavarria auctioned a runway-exclusive Chuco suit on eBay. Right after his Paris debut, fans had the chance to bid on this one-of-a-kind piece from the AW25 collection, with all proceeds going directly to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund.

The scientist featured in this video is Ashley Cross. Ashley is a PHD candidate at Emory University, researching microbiology and genetics. Here is a link to her academic profile on Emory’s site, and her LinkedIn profile in case you have any questions on molecular genetics.

The voice you heard during the phone call really was Ray Kroc’s son. His name is Ballard Smith, he’s the former president of the San Diego Padres, but more recently was Executive Director at an organization called Science of Sport. Below is a video recording of our conversation with the current ED, Daren Heaton.
We told him we were doing a project on the Padres and that for research purposes, we needed Ballard’s phone number to ask questions. It took very little convincing for Daren to hand over his personal contact information.
